If you read Samsung’s official blog as much as us, you may have noticed a new graphic for the company’s upcoming Unpacked 5 event (see image to the right). Although it contains the same date, location and url as the previous Unpacked 5 event promo, the new set of icons displayed is drawing some serious attention. Update: Samsung has since taken down the Unpacked 5 event promo from their blog. The good news, however, is that WE STILL HAVE IT. Samsung’s TouchWiz User Interface The Unpacked 5 event promo recently published on Samsung’s official blog suggests that the upcoming Galaxy S5 will feature an updated version of the company’s TouchWiz user interface. If you’ve owned previous versions of the Samsung Galaxy (S2, S3 or S4), you’re probably familiar with TouchWiz. Designed and developed exclusively by Samsung, it’s their standard UI for smartphones and tablet computers. But not everyone has been favored Samsung’s TouchWiz interface. Critics claim it’s bloated, difficult to use, and contains “unnecessarily” oversized icons.
